CLASSES

VINYASA YOGA

Vinyasa is a dynamic yoga practice that invigorates the body and mind through synchronizing breath with movement, cultivating endurance, strength, flexibility, and single-pointed concentration. Leaving the student feeling energized, refreshed, centered and relaxed. Suitable for those with yoga experience.



TIBETAN HEART YOGA
A beautiful practice that combines meditation with yoga. "Tibetan Heart Yoga works on your heart in two ways: It makes your physical heart and your body healthy and strong, and it opens your heart to love others. And, of course, the first always comes from the second."-The Tibetan Book of Yoga"



INTRO TO YOGA

Our Intro to yoga workshop is perfect for those brand new to yoga. The workshop is created to teach new students the basics of  yoga in a welcoming and non-intimidating environment. The class will focus on alignment, breath and the art of honoring our body where it is right now.  These techniques will be introduced  to students in a non-competitive and  fun atmosphere. If you have been curious about yoga but didn't want to walk in to a class with no experience, this is the class for you.


Qigong

Qigong is a technique to induce a state of absolute balance.  Qigong was born in ancient China and is still used all over the world as a form of self-healing.  There are hospitals which are devoted only to Qigong and treat patients with every kind of health issue.  The benefits of this practice range from feeling more energy to faster recovery from illness.    

Qigong uses less form/movement than Tai Chi (which is a product of Qigong) and more breathing and meditation techniques.  It is a wonderful practice for those who desire to heal themselves and bring balance back into their lives.
